Biography: Julie Sasso began her tenure on the Bethlehem Town Board in January 2014 and is also the Co-Chair of the Bethlehem Committee on Deer and Ticks. Julie and her husband, Patrick McSharry, own McSharry and Associates Realty, which is a Bethlehem-based company. Prior to becoming a realtor, Julie had an eclectic work history, including a stint as the Director of Bethlehem’s Youth Employment Service, and several positions utilizing her social work degree (St. Catherine’s Center for Children, Albany County Mental Health Forensic Unit, New York State Adoption Services). Julie graduated from Smith College in 1992, and received her Masters of Social Work at SUNY Albany in 1996. Julie moved to Bethlehem (Patrick’s home town) in 2002 and their two children are in the Bethlehem School District– one at BCMS and the other at BCHS.
