Kate is an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the NYS Attorney General. Kate graduated, summa cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law and also received a Master’s in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. In addition, she holds a Master’s in Social Work with a Concentration in Health /Mental Health Policy and Practice from the University of Vermont. In 2013, Kate earned a Certificate in Global Affairs from New York University and has spent much of her adult life, both professionally as an attorney and in various volunteer capacities, working to increase the transparency and competency of government at all levels and increasing the participation of citizens in their government.
Kate is a resident of Delmar. She was first appointed to the Planning Board on June 13, 2007 and reappointed on January 10, 2018. Her current term expires on December 31, 2022.
