Bethlehem’s annual “Letters to Santa” program will begin on Monday, November 26. Boxes will be picked up at locations throughout town on December 14. Letters received on or before December 14 will be answered before Christmas. Parents, grandparents and relatives who have young children in the family are encouraged to write letters and place them in the “Santa Boxes.” Please make sure you include the child´s name and address.
Look for "Letters to Santa" boxes at the following locations: Becker, Eagle, Elsmere, Glenmont, Hamagrael, Slingerlands, and St. Thomas elementary schools as well as Town Hall, Bethlehem Public Library, McCarroll’s, and Stewarts Shops on Delaware Ave., Cherry Ave., Feura Bush, Glenmont, and Selkirk.

To help inform the Comprehensive Plan Update, the Town will hold a series of community forums around the Town for residents to share their input and perspective on the future of their neighborhood and the Town. The Town is hosting the Selkirk Community Forum on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Selkirk Fire House, 126 Maple Avenue, Selkirk.

The annual Community Christmas Day Dinner is sponsored by the First United Methodist Church, the Town of Bethlehem Senior Services, many area churches, organizations and individuals.
Home delivered meals are also available, call to have your meal brought to you on Christmas Day.
Transportation for Town of Bethlehem residents, aged 60 and over, will be provided by Bethlehem Senior Transportation Services. For information, meal and/or transportation reservations, call 518-439-4955, extension 1176.
