  1. Letters to Santa 11/26 - 12/14

    November 26, 2018 - December 14, 2018

    Bethlehem’s annual “Letters to Santa” program will begin on Monday, November 26. Boxes will be picked up at locations throughout town on December 14. Letters received on or before December 14 will be answered before Christmas. Parents, grandparents and relatives who have young children in the family are encouraged to write letters and place them in the “Santa Boxes.” Please make sure you include the child´s name and address. Look for "Letters to Santa" boxes at the following locations: Becker, Eagle, Elsmere, Glenmont, Hamagrael, Slingerlands, and St. Thomas elementary schools as well as Town Hall, Bethlehem Public Library, McCarroll’s, and Stewarts Shops on Delaware Ave., Cherry Ave., Feura Bush, Glenmont, and Selkirk.

  1. Town Comprehensive Plan Update - Selkirk Community Forum, Thursday 12/13 6-8 pm

    December 13, 2018, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Selkirk Fire House #1

    To help inform the Comprehensive Plan Update, the Town will hold a series of community forums around the Town for residents to share their input and perspective on the future of their neighborhood and the Town. The Town is hosting the Selkirk Community Forum on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Selkirk Fire House, 126 Maple Avenue, Selkirk.

Senior Services Events Calendar

  1. Senior Legal Services Program - no cost, appointments required, 2nd Thursday of the month

    December 13, 2018, 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Town Hall

    Free legal consultation is available on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. This program is funded by Albany County Department for Aging and staffed by Legal Aid Society of NENY, Inc. You must be 60 years of age or older and an Albany County resident. Call for a 30 minute appointment with the attorney.

  2. Bethlehem Senior Citizens club meets at Town Hall, Thursdays 11-4

    December 13, 2018, 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Town Hall Auditorium

    Bethlehem Senior Citizens meet in the Bethlehem Town Hall Auditorium, 445 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, on Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Bring your bag lunch and join a group for a chat, pinochle, bingo, or Mah Jongg. Participants must be 55 years or older and reside in the Town of Bethlehem and/or the Bethlehem Central School District. Yearly Dues: $5.00 (Age 55 to 90), Golden Age Membership 90+: free. Social Fees: Fifty cents due at attended meetings.

    Does not meet on days when Town Hall is closed.
