Two classes, Using Compost in Gardening 101 and Backyard Composting Basics, are being offered by the Town of Bethlehem's Recycling Coordinator Dan Lilkas-Rain in March. Free legal consultation is available on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. This program is funded by Albany County Department for Aging and staffed by Legal Aid Society of NENY, Inc. Bethlehem Senior Citizens meet in the Bethlehem Town Hall Auditorium, 445 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, on Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Bring your bag lunch and join a group for a chat, pinochle, bingo, or Mah Jongg. Participants must be 55 years or older and reside in the Town of Bethlehem and/or the Bethlehem Central School District. Yearly Dues: $5.00 (Age 55 to 90), Golden Age Membership 90+: free. Social Fees: Fifty cents due at attended meetings.Does not meet on days when Town Hall is closed.
