The pool complex is a Tobacco Free Zones. Thank you for your cooperation.
The Elm Avenue Park pool complex is open daily from June 8 to
September 2, 2013, weather permitting. The pool complex consists of a 50 meter pool, an intermediate pool, a diving pool, 2 children's spray pools, children's play area, locker rooms and a concession stand;
please note, the concession stand will accept VISA, Master Card, and
Discover credit cards, but not debit cards. The concession stand offers a variety of hot and cold food and drinks at reasonable prices. No
smoking and no alcohol or glass containers are allowed. Enjoy the best outdoor pool facility in the Capital District!

*Special notes:
- Pools are cleared daily at 7:50 p.m.
- Weekdays from June 24-August 2 only a small section of the L-shaped pool will be open from 11 a.m. -
1:00 p.m. and the diving pool will open at 12:45 p.m.
- From August 10 - September 2 the pool complex will be open 11:30 a.m. -
7:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Labor
Day.
Pool Admission Procedure
Pay-as-you-go Pass
Swipe your pass and pay admission at the pool desk. Non-resident guests must be accompanied by a
resident with a valid pool pass. See rates, below.
Season Pass
Swipe your pass at the pool desk and enter the pool complex.

In 2008, all old pool passes were replaced with a new photo I.D./bar code
imprinted card. Older cards are no longer renewable or accepted.
All residents age 5 and older must have a pool pass to enter the pool
complex.

If you do not have a household ID or password, call the Parks and
Recreation Office (439-4955, option 3, then option 4)

Residency for all on-line pass renewals will be verified using the 2013
tax rolls; sorry, this option is only available if you are a town
property owner

- If you reside in the Town of Bethlehem but are NOT a property owner, you must provide
proof of residency*
- Include payment (if season pass)
- Renew in person at the pool or the office during the hours listed below
If you do not have a pass, you must obtain a new one. Bring a
photo I.D. AND proof of residency* during the hours listed below.

Pool Party Reservations
Town of Bethlehem residents with a valid pool pass may reserve the
"arts and crafts" shelter and surrounding grass area near Splash Islands
for parties according to the following schedule:
Monday - Friday, 4pm-close
Saturday or Sunday, Noon-3pm OR 4pm-close
The fee is $125 and includes admission for up to 20 party attendees
(wristbands will be provided). Additional attendees are $3.75
each. You will also receive a shout out
on the pool PA system and white board greeting. We will also have
a wagon available to transport your party supplies from your car to the
pool area.

Reserve a date now using the Pool Party Permit form. To check for
available dates, use the Online Registration System and select Shop -
Facility - Calendar and select Pool Party Area. Submit form by
mail or in person, with
payment, to the Parks and Recreation Office.
Please Protect Against Recreational Water Illness!
- Individuals with diarrhea shall not use the pools or spray ground
- Shower yourself and your child after using the toilet
- Use foot showers at the spray ground
- Children who are not fully toilet trained must wear a swim diaper covered by rubber pants
- No urinating, discharging of fecal matter, expectorating or blowing the nose in the pool or on the spray ground
- Please use locker rooms for diaper changing
- Spray features use recycled water; DO NOT DRINK
Individual Swim Lessons - Summer Only
Individual lessons can be arranged by submitting the Individual Lesson Form (see
link below) beginning May 31. The form and payment must be
made in person at the Park Office. All lessons are subject to instructor
availability. Five working days notice is required before the first
requested lesson.
