Middle School Pit

A meeting place for Middle School students, the Pit is operated by the Parks and Recreation Department in cooperation with the Bethlehem Central School District.  It is open weekdays Tuesdays - Thursdays 2:46 to 3:55 p.m. beginning in October; it will be closed on school holidays and half days.  The Pit, located in the activity area in the basement of the Middle School, features a snack bar, billiards, ping pong, foosball, music, games and offers a comfortable, safe place for students to hang out.  Refreshments in the snack bar are sold at a nominal charge.  Activities in the Pit will be supervised by up to 4 staff members.  Students will not be allowed to enter late or leave early unless accompanied by a parent or school administration. Admission is FREE.
