Biography:
Tom Schnurr joined the Town Board for a full term in 2024.  He and his family are residents of Delmar.

Tom is an education advocate with over a decade of policy and non-profit leadership experience.  He is a noted expert on higher education and public policy issues at the state and national level.  Prior to his work in education Tom focused on worker and patient safety issues.

Tom is a graduate of Fordham University.  He is a member of the Steering Committee for the Father Theodore T. Farley Scholarship at Fordham University.  He was also named as a 40 Under 40 Rising Star in New York Politics in 2015 by City and State.
