Parks Facilities and Reservations

Residents of the Town Bethlehem and Town of Bethlehem based organizations may reserve pavilions at Elm Avenue Park, Henry Hudson Park, South Bethlehem Park, and Maple Ridge Park for recreational functions.  Payment is due at the time of the reservation request.  Permits for ALL users will be issued on a first come, first served basis.

Facility reservations for a new calendar year may be made in early January of that year.  Check with Parks staff for exact date.  Please note that on the day we open reservations, we attend first to the in-person line before we attend to requests made via email.

Instructions for Reserving Pavilions

You can reserve pavilions by email or in person at the Park Office (261 Elm Avenue, Delmar, NY 12054).  Pavilions cannot be reserved over the phone.

  • For the email option:  select the facility you are interested in.  Under “Documents,” open the PDF and fill out page 2.  Emailing the form requires you to type in your credit card number at the bottom of the form.  If you wish, you can omit this number and request that we call to collect your credit card information over the phone.  Once the form has been completed, email it to the email address in the header, parks@townofbethlehem.org.
  • For the in person option, you can stop by the Park Office from Monday to Friday, 8:30AM-4:30PM, to pay by cash, check (made payable to “Town of Bethlehem”), or credit card.  You can come in with a form already filled out, or use one of the forms printed and available at our Office.
  • Alternatively, you can send the form and payment by mail to the Park Office (261 Elm Avenue, Delmar, NY  12054).  Bear in mind, however, that there is no guarantee the date you’re interested in will still be available by the time we receive it.
  • Once we receive the form and payment, whether in person, by mail or email, and have confirmed that the date you requested is available, your date is secure, noted in our internal calendar.  It can take a couple of business days to process your payment, after which we will email you your receipt.
  • Helpful tip:  You can call ahead to check the availability of the date you’re interested in, before filling out the form online or stopping by our Office.  We can be reached at 518-439-4955, option 7.
