I have concerns regarding this incident where a citizen found a cat inside a cat carrier and rescued it within minutes from drowning. I am wondering why both the cat carrier and rock have not been dusted for fingerprints. I'll bet if that carrier and the rock were dusted, they may pull some prints and there always is a possibility that the prints could be on file. Most bad people that do things like this are criminals and/or have had crimes on file. PLEASE dust for prints! http://www.news10.com/.../man-saves-cat-from-normans-kill

Lasher Road is a cut through. Since the Speed Check has been placed to help make sure people are driving the 30 MPH speed limit, it is apparent that 30 MPH is incredibly too fast to this road. There are many children who play and ride their bikes, as well as people who live on the street who can't back out of their driveway without getting beeped at by people speeding or even going the speed limit. Originally I thought people were just speeding on that road but since I can see the speed these people are driving since the speed trap has been placed on the street, it is clear to me that it is not always the driver's speed, but the speed limit itself that is the problem. I am strongly urging a change in this speed, from 30MPH to 20MPH to help keep our kids safe. It should be the same speed limit as any other community housing.

It would be great if we can have an online map showing the shoulder size on the roads in bethlehem as well as the roads that have sidewalks present. This would be great for planning routes for getting between friends and just in general improve the visibility to walking in town.

The town should take advantage of the NYS Dept of Financial Services grant to rid the town of abandon properties, also known as "zombie" properties. Learn more at www.dfs.ny.gov Citizens are encouraged to call in to report zombie properties in their neighborhoods. Also, many homes are in great disrepair. & prohibit the use of "jake break" here as well would greatly improve

The sewage odor can also be noticed in homes coming from the plumbing during certain times of the year (particularly the warmer months). I am not sure what needs to be done to remedy the problem, but whatever they did with the facility on Blessing Road did not help.

I was born and raised in NY, however, when I was living in Boston I loved the fact that Franklin, MA has a great Arts & Culture Council that was able to work with schools and all of the art organizations to help raise art advocates within the community. We can even raise money to offer grants once a year to organizations that have a great idea to serve the community.

I was born and raised in NY, however, when I was living in Boston I loved the fact that Franklin, MA has a great Arts & Culture Council that was able to work with schools and all of the art organizations to help raise art advocates within the community. We can even raise money to offer grants once a year to organizations that have a great idea to serve the community.
