    The Town's Hudson Kayak Eco-Tour that was scheduled for Saturday, June 23rd at 1:00 has been cancelled due to impending thunderstorms. Registered participants are invited to email kshaw@townofbethlehem.org to register for our next paddle scheduled for Friday, July 13th from 4:30-6:30PM. Thank you!

    Enjoy a guided kayak/canoe paddle along the Hudson River and Vlomankill. Learn about Bethlehem’s historic river connections from the unique perspective of actually being on the water. Experience the historic Nicoll-Sill House, Winne’s dock, Parda Hook and, if the creek is passable, the waterfall on the Vlomankill.

  3. Walking Tour - Elmwood Cemetery, Saturday, June 30, 10-11 a.m.

    Also known as Bethlehem Rural Cemetery, was established in 1860 on land transferred from the First Reformed Church. Noted families include Becker, Lasher, Myers, Selkirk and Schoonmaker. One family story sure to be highlighted is that of Garrett Niver who lost his life at the Battle of Little Big Horn in South Dakota. We will meet in the main driveway.

    Are you caring for a loved one who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another dementia? We recognize the need for a place for caregivers to share their struggles and successes with others who understand. You are not alone! This is a caregiver's support group waiting for you. Please join us on the fourth Wednesday of each month at Bethlehem Town Hall. Please call 439-4955, extension 1176 for more details. The group is co-sponsored by Bethlehem Senior Services and the Alzheimer's Association.

    Bethlehem Senior Citizens meet in the Bethlehem Town Hall Auditorium, 445 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, on Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Bring your bag lunch and join a group for a chat, pinochle, bingo, or Mah Jongg. Participants must be 55 years or older and reside in the Town of Bethlehem and/or the Bethlehem Central School District. Yearly Dues: $5.00 (Age 55 to 90), Golden Age Membership 90+: free. Social Fees: Fifty cents due at attended meetings.

    Does not meet on days when Town Hall is closed.
