Bethlehem Committee on Deer and Ticks

The Bethlehem Committee on Deer and Ticks (BDCT) is a collaborative effort between town staff and town residents, all of whom volunteer their time to advance public education and awareness of issues related to the deer and tick populations in town. BCDT prioritizes interventions that provide town residents the tools to better manage deer and ticks on their property and to facilitate a better understanding of issues related to deer and ticks.

Current initiatives include:
  • Tick Awareness pilot program in the Bethlehem Central School District
  • Distribution of informational materials at community events
Check back regularly for updated information or contact the committee co-chairs to see about how you can get involved.
