The dog park is temporarily closed because of extremely wet conditions.  This is preventative maintenance and is done in effort to maintain the long-term health of the park, specifically the grass turf.  The grass is still dormant this time of year and very sensitive just after winter thaw, if/when those areas are stripped away it can take many weeks to recover or worse be lost for the season. Maintenance will continue to monitor conditions and reopen as soon as possible.  

Although the weather is starting to warm up, all Town playing fields are currently closed.  The fields remain very saturated and are not ready for use but please check here first.

The typical target date for reopening fields is mid-April, but conditions will ultimately depend on the weather and field conditions.
